Subject: Determining the sex
------------------------------------------------------------
from an article in Raman's astrological magazine sept. issue 1997 Prof.
gupta says: the parent at time of conception should be running a bhukti of
jupiter, mars or sun, and the bhukti lord should not be aspected by female
planets, should not be in a female sign or naksatra in main chart or navamsa
of the parent. The sun should transit a male sign at conception time. Saturn
transiting should not aspect or associate with or be in 8th from bhukti
lord.

I would add that the jupiter, mars or sun would also have to been somehow
related to the fifth, second or eleventh house by lordship, occupation,
aspect or naksatra lord.
